"I experienced an acute emergency with some OLD dental work that was causing me excruciating pain so I reached out to Jefferson Dental & Orthopedics. Anna was very warm, professional and active on bringing me in same day. As I arrived I was greeted with promptness and a smile. The Dr. was funny, friendly and very helpful! His skills and genuine concern was felt and his focus on solution has definitely made my situation resolve.I am thankful and I HIGHLY recommend Jefferson Dental & Orthopedics."
"Friendly employees, they were really trying to help me. This is my first time going to the dentist and I had a good experience. Sana, the hygienist was super great and helpful with advice and she cleaned my teeth really well."
"I went to this dental office for my routine dental cleaning. I was there for over two hours. One person took x-rays another came to talk, third person came to check my teeth, an ortho came to try to offer services, when I had already told them I needed to see a dentist for my teeth cleaning. The dental hygienist came to measure pockets, then they told me the coordinator would come talk to me. I waited a good 20-30 mins before she came to talk to me. I then was given a list of mostly cosmetic procedures that they recommended. She said I would need to get a DEEP cleaning and my fillings. I kindly declined and told her I was there for a regular cleaning and a filling. She then called the dental hygienist which then gave me a demonstration a second time along with I’m not trying to sell you anything. No dentist out there is going to do a regular cleaning when you need a deep cleaning. Which I know that’s wrong, I have gotten regular cleanings after declining deep pocket cleanings. There are dentist out there that will even if they recommend a deep cleaning. I told him I was not going to do a deep cleaning and he left. The coordinator came back to tell me that they would be doing the fillings. I said you’re going to fill without cleaning? Makes no sense. Why would I clean over filth. I told her without a cleaning I would be declining treatment. Lesson for the practice, always put the customers needs first. Having multiple people in my face selling me products I don’t need is overwhelming and unprofessional. It was a big waste of time for me to sit there for 2 hours. Always listen to the customer, I asked for a regular cleaning and my fillings. Not ortho or a sonic tooth brush or mouth guards that I can purchase elsewhere for a qtr of the price. This was quite a surprise and in my case a bad experience. This not only hurt the customer relationship but also made a bad representation of JEFFERSON DENTAL. The only good feedback I have is that the ladies in the lobby during check in were excellent. They were profesional and greeted me and thanked me even after I was leaving. Shame on the rest of the crew for not providing the same type of service. When I got home I called my insurance only to find out the deep cleaning is covered and all they needed to do is submit a proposal. Always decline out of pocket expenses and you as a customer can take the code documents elsewhere that will find the correct coding to invoice the insurance. Preventive cleanings most of the time should be FREE twice a year depending on your insurance."
"On 5/2023 I went in and had dental care, which went fine. The plan was to have my 2 crowns replaced in 6 months, and it was suggested, more than once, that I get a deep cleaning as well. I am on blood thinners which they know about, so when I had to be off them the end of November for a different procedure, I called this dentist to see if I could have the crowns replaced as well as a cleaning. I could not get an answer when I called, so I took my blood thinner that day, and finally got Fredda to answer the next day. I told her I had been off my blood thinners except for one dose, and wanted to see how much the crown replacement would cost, and so I could make an appointment, after I got off my blood thinners again, knowing how my hematologist wants me to bridge off for any procedures. Fredda refused to even look up how much it would cost me for the crowns until they got hold of my hematologist for directions, not caring that I know what to do or that my hematologist won't send the orders since I had them, insisting she needed to get it from the doctor. She was so rude and unhelpful, continuing not to give me pricing, and had a 'whatever' attitude when I mentioned that maybe need to go elsewhere for treatment. Afterwards, on December 1st, 4th, 6th, and 8th, there were texts with a manager, which they initiated, and after being told of my difficulties with Fredda, and looking like I needed to go elsewhere, was told each of those dates via text, that my complaint would be escalated to the general manager, each time with no call as expected. The last text gave me a number to call, which was an inactive number, then gave me a working number, when I called was back to Fredda at the dentist office. She continued to say she needed the hematologist direction for my blood thinner plan. I told her again that they wouldn't send it but I could pick it up and bring it in, and she CONTINUED to have a 'whatever' attitude. After some prodding, she finally gave me the co-pay amount for the crowns to be replaced, but REFUSED to give me the co-pay amount for the deep cleaning, her continued reasoning being needing the orders about stopping my blood thinner orders from my hematologist, not caring that I could pick them up or to just give me the pricing. She even told me, when asked, that there was nobody else to discuss this matter with. Her attitude is so unprofessional and rude and didn't care if they lost me as a customer OR if I gave them a bad review, saying "Oh well. Go ahead". So that left me no choice but to find a different dentist. The dentist was fine, but this Fredda woman (that's what she said her name is) cost them my business. I don't know how this company can have someone like that...extremely unhelpful and rude. GO ELSEWHERE UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND NOT GETTING PRICING OR GETTING HELP."
"Had to get a lot of work done on my teeth and was very nervous about everything. Dr. Mimi and both Hygienists that tended to me were absolutely amazing! Everyone was so kind and understanding and made me feel comfortable. When I was having anxiety they offered me water and some comforting words. My last dental experience was horrible so I was nervous about coming here, but I’m so grateful I did! Thank you to everyone who helped me and to my Doctor that treated me! All around amazing!"
