"I was recommended this place because of the ethics behind the shop. I went to a shop on lvt and was initially quoted over $700; I had a strong feeling in my stomach that something was off; I also didn't want to give my business to a place playing fox news. So I took it to Ben, and I was right; the previous site was trying to "fix" something that wasn't broken. It ended up only being a leak, and I ended up paying $150. Bring your car here!! "A truck I'd parked next to recently left some paint on my minivan. We didn't want to go through insurance because it seemed fairly minor, so we decided to get a few estimates to determine whether we wanted to pay for the repair out of pocket or just live with it. I looked up local body shops online, picked a couple with the best reviews, and had planned to stop at both this morning to get estimates. My first (and only) stop was Stevens. I walked into the office, was greeted warmly by the office clerk, and explained the situation. She said they'll just come out and take a quick look. Both she and Ben came out (even though he was on the phone waiting on hold) and looked at my car. Ben said he'd wipe it with some solvent because it just looked like a paint transfer. A few wipes later and the paint was all gone! No charge! There were a couple of lingering scratches and he quoted me a very reasonable time & price estimate if I choose to get those buffed out in the future. I was very pleased with the friendly welcome, quick turnaround, and their willingness to just "take care of it." I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Ben was very polite and knowledgeable. Even though he didn't earn any money from me on this visit, we will certainly return if the need ever arises. Stevens Paint & Body is a quality small business that deserves (and earns) our support!"
