"This place is definitely one of Y husband and I’s favorite spots for date night! The service is attentive and friendly, the live music is great and sets the mood making the atmosphere very lively and the food is mouth watering! We’ve been here several times and one of our favorite dishes is definitely the garlic rice. Man… that garlic rice is something else! The chicken inasal is so juicy and tender and very well seasoned. The lumpiang Shanghai with the sauce is crispy and packed with flavor! The sizzling sisig is so good and I definitely recommend. The crispy pata is literally as big as your head and so juicy and very well seasoned. Basically everything you get here is amazing and you can’t go wrong. Their dessert are yummy too! Their halo halo is my favorite but their flan is also delicious. If you’re looking for an for night out with good food and entertainment, this is definitely the place to be."
"It's been a very long time since I've reviewed a restaurant and gave 5 stars. The atmosphere was so inviting let me tell you. The food was GREAT and the band was entertaining. They ran out of the Filipino spaghetti that I was wanting to try but the fried chicken and adobo rice made up for it. Chile even the UBE ice cream was good. My family will be back! This is a great spot for a date, entertainment night on Fridays and Saturdays, grab a drink at the bar or just to eat. I don't recommend bringing young kids on Fridays or Saturdays because the live band music is pretty loud and jumpin. I think I found my new spot though. If this is how all the Filipino spots get down in HTX, I'm there. Thanks Gerrys grill!"
"Raw chicken and charred food. The extra star is for some of the flavors exhibited somehow through the charred and raw food. The service was simply bad. The line for food delivery delayed dishes of a latency of 15-20 minutes. We had to ask the person from the kitchen where was the additional food we ordered. I will not return as the cost was ridiculously expensive, yet the poorest cut of meat was used. Not only was the chicken raw, it barely had any meat. A he charred dish was not clear between the burned bacon vs some type of pork. Noisy, loud and loud the waiter can to the table to rush us to place an order, returned once to fill drinks and later to check if we were ready to pay; and then to take payment. Better restaurants around with higher quality of food and service."
"Great tasting, authentic filipino foods. Large portions to share. Price is fair. Location is easy to find. Friendly and attentive staff. Visiting Houston and we were glad they have Gerry's Grill."
"All plates were ordered had Large portions. The food was delicious. The service was fast. Lots of left overs. Salmon sinigang was okra instead of eggplant. Both the Grilled and fried calamari was cooked well. I'd highly recommend it."
