"This is a lively, retro tiki bar. They make the best cocktails here. My favorite is painkilla. Glad we found this drink spot that can replace our old usual bar where we had an unpleasant experience last time there. It gets busy here on weekends and bar seats are for grabs. Haven’t tried their food yet. Next time!"
"Good people, good food. We had the dumplings, the honey biscuit chicken sandwich, the mushroom burger, the cheeseburger, and the spicy fries. We also got a few drinks: a pain killer, an ocean water, and a tropic like it's hot. The drinks had a nice kick and were tasty although the ocean water really does remind you of ocean water. It looks lovely but I probably won't order it again. The interior with its 80s/90s music, decor, and ecclectic vibe, transports you to the west coast, giving a Seattle or Portland feel. I recommend the dumplings, biscuit chicken sandwich (add the egg, it'll be messy but good), and the cheeseburger."
"I want to start saying that the staff here was super friendly and attentive, from the host to our server, they took excellent care of us. This was our first time here and we really enjoyed the place and the food. The place was Christmas decorated and it was so fun! Because they did it in a very unusual way, I felt like a little kid! There were gifts hanging from the ceiling, gift bows covering a complete wall, everything was unexpected, loved it! Now let’s get to the important part here, the food! It was delicious!!!!! So tasty and very well done, they take pride in their food and you can tell by the way it’s made. I ordered a burger and requested the side bacon, omg this was so good! The bun was soft and buttery, the meat was very well seasoned and the bacon, oh the bacon! It was so meaty! Like I have never seen before, definitely the best side bacon you will get. My daughter got the Cuban sandwich and this was a pretty good size sandwich with lots of flavor, very yummy! We got the dumplings for appetizer and it was a recommendation of our server, he nailed it! This dumplings are something you must order! Last but not least, the coquito drink, first it was served in a super cute reindeer mug and this Puerto Rican tradional drink was very very good! Definitely coming back soon!!!"
"Only stopped by for a quick drink and bite but will definitely be back. I had the ocean water and the roasted sweet potatoes which are one of my favorite dishes I’ve had since moving to Houston. My partner had the burger and he really liked it as well. The service was great and the ambience was perfect for either a date night or some time out with friends."
"Based on reviews, I checked out this spot for happy hour. We got the burger, popcorn chicken and fries. We also got two drinks..a fruity one which I don't recall the name and a mojito. In terms of atmosphere, it's very beachy and relaxed. Service was just there nothing special. The popcorn chicken actually comes with popcorn which was interesting ..but it was tasty. The fries were nice and crunchy though I was not a fan of the peppery aftertaste. I also didn't like my drink ..it was way too syrupy. The burger was tasty though so I would go back to try other things on the menu."
