"Great neighborhood bar with a pool table. The drinks are cheap for Austin and the bartender and patrons were all very friendly to a stranger like myself who popped in on a Sunday afternoon. The pizza truck out front was great, and the NightOwl allows you to eat it inside while you knock back a cold drink--full service bar, too. Best of all dogs are allowed inside on a hot summer day which pretty much makes this place a new favorite when I'm out with my Aussies and need a cool respite from Austin's continuous 100s summers. The bartender was super nice--that too left a lasting impression of what everyone likes over someone who's tired, cranky, or self-absorbed--really cheery spot."

"We had the best unexpected experience at this bar. We did not intend to visit but had ordered pizza at Pedrosos trailer next door & had to wait 20 minutes for or order. Needless to say we were met with the most kind & personable bar tender. The drinks were very reasonably priced & she was on top of our service. The regular clientele were classy & friendly folks and we plan to return regularly on sundays to keep in touch. We were made to feel like we were at home. Such a great experience"
