"First off, the food is fantastic. Our problems arose when we arrived and were told there was a 30-35 minute wait. Fine, no worries at that point - it's a small place. Well, over an hour and ten minutes into waiting, we still weren't seated. Again, I have a lot of patience for these things, under normal circumstances. The problem in this case is that, by the time we were seated, Happy Hour was over so our food/beverage costs were nearly double on some items ultimately. Bufalina was unwilling to honor Happy Hour pricing, even though we had to wait double the amount of time originally quoted. I think this is quite unacceptable, for a customer to experience. We didn't make an issue of it, because everyone was busy and stretched thin. But I'd love to give Bufalina another shot, under better circumstances. Will update the review, after we visit next time. I hope we can have a win in the future."
"Popped in during a happy hour and had incredible pizza. The happy hour prices are 100% worth it, one of the best happy hour menus I’ve seen. Left restaurant with about $30 bill for 2 pizzas and 2 drinks. Pizza was delicious, Neapolitan style (super thin, light, crispy slightly burned). Everything was great. Would definitely come here to try out other menu items. Be mindful of parking, it gets sparse close to dinner time."
"Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. The ambiance and atmosphere were cozy and welcoming. The service was attentive, polite, and professional. Being from New England I really miss this style of pizza. One of the top pizzas I’ve had anywhere from Austin to New York City. Good quality ingredients and a perfectly cooked pizza. The pizza was so good I ordered a second one!"
"I used to like this place. When I was about to leave on Nov 19 at 1:45 PM, I noticed that during a prep, a piece of jalapeño was dropped on the floor. One of the servers picked it up, then the lady who was doing the prep washed it and put it back. I am not a health inspection expert but this looked like a violation. Even if it wasn’t a violation, it is gross. It is half a jalapeño, you will not go bankrupt if you dispose it. When I raised my concern with the server, he mentioned it is fine if she washed it. Will never return"
"Beyond delish! Caesar salad = so fresh, perfect & huge! Margarita pizza = truly *magical* flavors + super friendly service at the counter last night. Love!"
