"If I could honestly give this place a 0 star I would, we have used the skate palace for years for birthday parties. We could bring our own pizza and cupcakes for the parties but they won’t allow that anymore. They are now also charging for spectators. Absolutely ridiculous. Lost a faithful loyal customer and all of our families. I understand the cost of things is higher now but to charge me to just sit and watch my child is ridiculous."

"I had meant to submit this review last weekend after our 4.5 hours of well spent family time. Our community is so lucky to have such a fun, well managed skating rink. The Bastrop Skate Palace Team works very hard to keep the facility clean, skates maintained, and prices super affordable. This place is a gem and again we’re so lucky to have it. Big thanks"

"I recently moved to bastrop 2 months ago and I have only gone 2 times so far . I don't get why people are saying they are rude. I always see staff being friendly with many kids . Every 20 or so min they play games EX:limbo,sharks and meadows,dice,etc. I have had so much fun . Even though I am a beginner I am improving a lot thanks to tips from the staff. You sadly can't bring any outside food but they are kind enough to keep it cold . They also sell snacks and they are all great prices. In short I LOVE THIS PLACE . RECOMMENDED SO MUCH .if you are a beginner definitely use a skating buddy."
