"Please, please, please have your people in the back trained to move things more carefully. We know they are donated to you but we are paying money for them. We have noticed a man on his own moving nice furniture on its side on a dolly with no blanket to protect the side of the piece. We recently bought a lovely desk that was moved this way and left on its side on the asphalt outside with a bunch of new scratches not there when we bought the piece. Thank you."
"They have helped me - and probably an immense amount of others - with so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This place gives me hope. If you need assistance with food or really anything, they will help you and they will do so happily."
"Store was fine. Cashier was very rude. We came in on a Saturday and my mother had picked out an item without a price tag. We came to the cashier and she immediately said, no price tag, no sale and set them off to the side with a very sarcastic “sorry.” I don’t know how you can work in a job that deals with people when they can’t at least try to be kind."
"Pains me to do this, I love the staff and have loved the store for years. They’ve have helped me alot. With that being said I’ve been in there many times since 10/23 and noticed the prices have been hiked up. The reason I don’t goto goodwill is cause their greedy business practices of getting free items and trying to get rich selling them for too much money. A regular little pan for 12$ that would be 5/6$. A toy truck for 25$ and it’s missing the remote. I loved this place for years but don’t expect everyone to just accept the unreasonable price hikes, cause it’s not what we signed up for. It’s not like y’all need more money, stop being greedy. Jesus would not approve"
"We love the Caring Place. This is the only place we donate to these days. Volunteer run, they do wonderful work for the community and they have such a wonderful selection of things. Clothing, house wears, fabrics, furniture, toys, music, books... You name it. Their prices are just right, and it's so much more affordable than some "other" major-name thrift stores, of whose name we do not speak. Give your loved, gently used items to the Caring Place to support a good cause, then stop and shop for some treasures of your own!"
