"Is this the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Dallas? Quite possibly. At the very least, it's definitely the best spot in town for Afghan cuisine. I do not think I have had Middle Eastern food as good as this. I have been 5+ times and it is consistently incredible. Everything is made from scratch. Everything is so flavorful and delicious. 100% order their grilled fish. It is, without a doubt, some of the best fish I have ever had at a restaurant. So warm, crisp and spiced to perfection. The actual fish is so soft and delicious. Their curries are incredible. I had the beef one. Any appetizer you order will also be really good. You can honestly close your eyes and just point to a random menu item and you'll most likely be really happy with what you ordered. The bolani (potato stuffed bread) paired with their dipping sauces is so good. I also suggest ordering that. I loved their samosas too. I have had other different menu items that were amazing, including: chapli kabab, kabuli pulao (Afghan style rice), meatballs, eggplant, and lobya. All of the items I just listed are absolutely delicious. I really, really wish more people knew this restaurant existed. Although the interior is rather small with limited seating (a few tables and bar island seating), I have had no trouble getting a table each time I have been. Takeout is your other option. Try this place if you haven't yet! Pictured are grilled fish and beef curry!"
"I recently dined at an Afghan Cuisine Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The rich flavors of Qabili Palaw and delicious soup were a delight The warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere made the experience truly memorable. A must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Afghan flavors in Dallas"
"Basically a hole-in-the-wall eatery with limited seating. The food is good and definitely in the value for money category. The usual Afghani restaurant challenge was the appetizers being served together with entrees (since we "forgot" to express our expectations clearly up front). The Mantu was dressed better than contemporary experience. The quantity was generous and the taste elevated the expectations. The Bolani was not fried uniformly and the oil was too generous for our liking. The filling again demonstrated superior cuisine with very small chunks of potatoes (not thoroughly mashed) as a thick layer - whetting the palate for more. The Shrimp Korma had Ü30 shrimps in a pleasant sauce. The Chicken Curry a la Afghani was prepared exactly to the requested spice level (biz. Lowest) and served in the traditional style but it was a dedicated serving dish not a cooking utensil :). The protein quantity was rather high. In short, good dining experience."
"I feel so compelled to write this review after getting to experience this amazing cuisine!! I’ve had afghan food many times as a Californian and this is the best I’ve had. A hidden gem. My favorite dishes were the chappli kabob , mantu and the eggplant dish is a MUST! Please do yourself a favor and check out this incredible family owned establishment"
