"Super clean and easy to order/understand menu. Not a true Indian cuisine, more like an indo-American fusion spot. Though it has solely Indian items, it’s styled like a “chipotle” styled Indian food. Quick service. The dishes aren’t spicy at all, we got the TEXAS size (highly rec sizing it TEXAS style for $2-3 more) paneer makhani with basmati rice & garlic naan. I got a medium for spice level, but I would recommend getting spicy (if you are used to Indian food) bc the medium was unexpectedly sweet for an entree… the garlic naan wasn’t the traditional naan, it was a garlic sauce poured over the plain naan. I didn’t mind it but I wouldn’t recommend this dish. That being said, we also got the samosa combo (veg & chicken) and the chicken biryani with raita (Indian yogurt) which I highly recommend. I would get the biryani without the raisins and cashews, but that’s a personal preference. The biryani was very flavorful and I really appreciated that they use chicken breast, not chicken thigh meat. Super generous with the amount of chicken pieces in the biryani. Good price for a quick lunch spot in the area."
"The overall taste is average. The portion of food is not at par with standard Indian restaurants. Only 3 pieces of kofta were served in malai kofta and the quantity of vegetable curry was insufficient for 2 people. One is supposed to order at the counter, take a token and then the food is delivered to the table."
"This is probably the best counter-serve Indian restaurant in town. Nearly all of the main dishes are excellent and the naan is the best around. Service is a little spotty and the space feels pretty over the hill, but the food makes up for it. Unfortunately, the hefty premiums added to menu item prices on delivery partners makes this a dine-in only option for me."
"Love the food - particularly the Chicken Makhani (butter chicken) is a family favorite. Prices for Indian food and beverages are reasonable. Prefer the Texas sized entrees."
"This place is truly exceptional! We've been loyal patrons for over two years, and I'm delighted to say that their service and food quality have remained consistently outstanding. It's not your typical à la carte restaurant; they offer reasonably priced combos with perfectly portioned servings. The variety of spice levels for their sauces (gravies) is impressive, and their hot spice level is genuinely sweat-inducing. Our go-to is the Texas-sized portion of Chicken Makhani, served with rice and Naan. They also have a selection of wines and beers. Overall, we adore this restaurant - it's a gem for Indian cuisine in the heart of Dallas, with top-notch quality. I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially to those trying Indian food for the first time!"
