"Jason was good. However, with an appointment I would expect the sales person knowing why I am there and what I am looking for. Since we discussed it in making the appointment to begin with. The dealership that learns that customers do not like the back and forth game with the "desk" will become the model dealership people will want to spend their time and money. Also if they can cut the customer time in half would greatly benefit as well. Spending 5-9 hours at a dealership is just to right. Lastly, spend time with the customers that purchased a vehicle. There needs to be a get to know the vehicle prior to driving away. Forgetting about the customer who already spent the money for a new customer is not how to retain or secure repeat customers. They may stay with the brand but with some other dealership that cares all the way to their home. How about a follow up call to check with the customer in 48 hours to check and verify all is still good or questions."
