"The service we received here was deplorable to say the least. We chose this restaurant in Boerne to have a lunch for our guests after the funeral for our Mother. This occurred on the 26th of February. We went a day ahead and spoke with the manager on duty and to pay the $100 deposit to secure the room they have upstairs. We were advised how the ordering process would go and that one person would be assigned to help us. We were assured that the room would be ready with a drink station to include ice, cups, tea, soda and water at 12:00. We left confident that this would all work out well and we had one less thing to worry about. I left immediately after the funeral to greet our guest as they arrived. We had about 30 guests. I found the door to our reserved room locked. After finding someone to unlock the door the room was dark and no preparations had been done as promised. I spoke with the manager on duty and he said he knew nothing of this. I explained the situation and let him know that we had paid the deposit the day before and our guests were on their way. His attitude was less than acceptable and he was of no help. We had to retrieve all of the ice and drinks and set the room up ourselves. We had our guests fill out their food order requests and took them down to be filled. Over an hour later I went down to check on the status of our food. I spoke with the manager again. He was just starting to enter our orders then. It took over an hour and a half for our guests to start receiving their food and some guests never received their order at all. This was the most embarrassing and humiliating experience for our family to have to go through with our guests. Our bill was well over $500.00 plus the deposit of $100.00. I sent an email to the director of operations two days after to describe our experience to have no response as of today, seven days later. If you are planning to have any kind of event at this restaurant you may want to reconsider. Happy to take your money and not provide the service."

"Probably one of the best hamburgers I've eaten in 10 years!!! Jalapeno burger came with double meat, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and mustard, on a wheat bun (extra .50 cents), with a "double" order of provolone cheese (extra $1.00). The deal included fries and a large drink all for under $14.00!!! One friend had the Big Juicy and the 50/50 which was half French fries and half onion rings, while my second friend had the Big Juicy with tater tots and large drinks... both approximately the same price as my meal. Burgers were juicy, plentiful on the fixings and plenty of jalapenos on my burger which I like! Everything was cooked fresh to order so it came out hot and ready to eat and the timely manner... old style restaurant where they call out your name to go pick up your food! Restaurant was laid out well and plenty of room to maneuver around. Tables and dining area very clean as are the restrooms..."

"It is sad to see how tired this place has become. They had a single busser on staff who was also the only person handling the dishes and both were suffering as a result. Our party had to ask to have our table wiped down as evidence of the previous dinners were left behind in the form of spilled drinks and crumbs. I ordered a kids chicken tinder and hamburger for my little ones and a grilled chicken salad for myself. Upon picking up my order, I went to the utensil station to get a fork which there were none. Not a problem though as I asked the unoccupied cashier for one and she was able to walk to the back sink and get one for me. Our food finally came out without too much wait and after I get the kids set up, I was able to dive in to my meal. My very first bite rendered instant disappointment, consisting of a mushy lettuce. Upon further inspection, the the bed of lettuce under the chicken, croutons, and cheese matched the first bite. Apparently I was given a pile browned lettuce that should have been tossed out with a few less wilted pieces sprinkled on top. Needless to say, I was done with the dish. There are a few things worth bringing to the attention of the manager but this was inexcusable in my opinion."

"Chicken fried chicken burger was served burnt. I asked if I could return and just get a cheese burger. It could have been that the oil for deep frying got too hot too quickly. Things like that happen sometimes, but it should never be severed that way. I wouldn't server that to any family member. It should not be served to a paying customer. They made me cheese burger."

"The food is great! The service was also great. It was a little on the loud side inside (was to cold to sit out on the patio/outdoor area) but overall a great experience. Definitely a popular place to dine at. They were busy. I meant to get the chicken fried chicken plate but the chicken friend steak was great! My Husband had a bacon burger, in which he liked. We also had an order of fried pickles. Im not much for most fried pickles at restaurants but I enjoyed them!"
