"Lowe’s insurance sent ACT to fix our dishwasher and after several visits they couldn’t find out what was broken. It’s been very frustrating since ACT closed the ticket and told us it was unrepairable but then never sent the report to Lowe’s. We have been fighting with Lowe’s since ACT then told Lowe’s it was repairable but they don’t have the tool to fix it. So it’s been months of frustration and hours of wait time and back and forth between the two. Still no resolution. Don’t purchase the insurance at Lowe’s or do business with ACT."

"If you are lucky enough to read this before the first visit, ASK FOR ANOTHER CONTRACTOR!! STAY CLEAR! BEWARE!!!! This company will not be available for reasonable times for appointments, they will not respond accordingly with you or your warranty company, they will likely not even be able to fix the damn appliance. My issue has been open for 4 months and my microwave isn't fixed and they won't report back to my warranty company so that they can replace my microwave. This company is the only negative experience I have ever had with my warranty company."

"I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service provided by ACT Appliance. Frankly, if it were up to me, this company would never have come into existence. For the past two months, I have been grappling with malfunctioning appliances that your technicians have repeatedly failed to repair. It baffles me why a company purportedly in the business of fixing appliances cannot manage to resolve a simple issue within a reasonable timeframe. Over the course of these two months, your technician has made no less than four visits, yet the appliances remain faulty. It begs the question: if your team is unable to rectify the problem, why not have the integrity to admit it rather than stringing customers along with false hope? The level of incompetence displayed by your technicians is appalling. It is abundantly clear that they lack the necessary expertise to diagnose and remedy appliance issues effectively. Furthermore, I am utterly dismayed by the abysmal state of your customer service. The lack of communication, coupled with the inability to provide a satisfactory resolution, is unacceptable. In light of these ongoing frustrations, I am left with no choice but to strongly advocate for the reconsideration of your company's operations. It is my earnest belief that businesses which consistently fail to meet the needs of their customers have no place in the marketplace. I implore you to take immediate and decisive action to address these glaring deficiencies before further damage is done to your reputation. As a paying customer, I deserve far better treatment than what I have received thus far."

"I'm giving this business one star because I can't give it a lower rating. One star implies that something was done and it took too long or I'm just not happy, but that's not the case. Our washing machine broke before Christmas, 2023. It is now Jan. 23rd of 2024 and we still do not have a working washing machine. Every time the guy comes here, he finds something new that is wrong and has to order another part. Every time the order a part, it takes a week for the part to come in. Then the cycle starts all over again. I don't know if the technician is incompetent or running a scam and I don't care. I just want a working washing machine. The problem is, ACT is contracted through American Home Shield and they want assign a new contractor. My recommendation to anyone reading this review is to not use ACT and to not get a contract American Home Shield."

"After two visits, ACT was unable to repair my refrigerator. The service tech assured me the problem was the compressor, but that was not the issue. The worst part of the service received was how the tech left the wiring to my refrigerator. See the pictures below. I am now unable to plug the refrigerator into the electrical socket. He wasn’t professional enough to place the wires back to the way he found AND he made the repair worst than when he started."
