"Return policy!! Watch out, we were looking for the very best solution to a return that was past their policy return date. We DID have our receipt. We were met with everything they can’t do. I get policy & procedure, I really do. However after going through all the scenarios with what they can’t do and getting frustrated we finally got to the point with the manager where she said what she can do… which was fair and made complete sense. Our simple comment to her that it would have been easier to start with that… would have saved a lot of frustration. Anyway, they do have great clothing and in the end we did come to a positive resolution."

"Before they close I went inside to ask a question and I was wanting to look at the item and the employee said that they are closing at 8. And I said that other Athleta stores allow people to shop even after closing time as long as you enter before closing time and she said that they are not that kind of store that they are now closed. As I left the store, the other stores nearby still have people shopping inside. I guess they are not the friendliest store."

"Management is the worst. My Grandma was treated so poorly after she spends so much money there. Customer service definitely should not be different depending on how old or what you wear."

"My grandmother went into this store last Thursday looking to exchange a pair of shorts she bought for me for Christmas. She accidentally bought the wrong size , I needed a small not a medium so she went looking to see if they would trade them for her. When she asked the manager if this was possible, the manager scanned my shorts and said that my grandma only paid 46 cents for them because she paid with her rewards. (Mind you , you have to spend A LOT of money to get a $50 pair of shorts for 46 cents with rewards) She told my grandma that she would not exchange the shorts for a different size but instead handed her a gift card for 46 cents. My grandma told her no, and why could she simply not exchange them. The manager just kept saying that she would not trade them because she only paid 46 cents. Then my grandma asked if she could have the shorts back then , and the manager told her “no, you aren’t getting your shorts back here’s your gift card for 46 cents”. My grandma paid 46 cents for those shorts because she spent over $1000 on Athleta clothes for me and my cousins for Christmas. I know that my grandma went into this store, in her simple clothes she always wears and she was discriminated against. Call it race discrimination or call it elderly abuse because the manager obviously thought she wouldn’t say anything about it, but this was wrong. Not even as a manager but as a human being, treating someone this way should never occur. And as for the other employee watching this all happen and not giving her name when asked, you should feel bad for not standing up for my grandma when you saw this happening. We have contacted corporate and waiting to hear back from the regional manager , but we are not letting this go."
