"My AC broke on a Friday night, and this was one of the only places in Austin that would sell AC capacitors to a retail customer, let alone on a Saturday. The sales guy was very nice and super helpful, they didn't have exactly the capacitor I needed, but he showed me how I could wire separate capacitors for the fan and herm, and it worked out."

"I called these guys looking for a microwave part. They were really helpful and ended up directing me to a website where I could order this part myself directly rather than ordering it through them. Like the Santa in the Miracle on 34th Street movie. I will absolutely check these guys out again next time I need something they handle."

"My washer seal recently broke. Other folks told me it would take three months to get the part in. Kurt was able to find the part and get it delivered within a week. Talk about great customer service! He even recommended someone to come out to install the part for me and they got me on the schedule for the next day! "I'm updating this review because the main issue has been resolved. I had a very frustrating 7 months waiting for a refrigerator I paid for in May. I was told it would arrive in 2 weeks. In mid-June, I was told it will be July 13. In mid-July I called to find that the new delivery date is August 31 - that's more than a month away. Each time I called to check, I was told it would be one or two months in the future before I'd get the fridge. Finally I got it at the end of December. I was provided a loaner fridge at no charge while waiting for the new one - that's a big plus. The folks at Appliance Associates were helpful and friendly in my interactions with them. I'd give 4 - 1/2 stars if I could. I know the delay was not the fault of this business - everyone is having delays in appliance deliveries. The main reason for less than 5 is that Appliance Associates did not inform me about the delays - I had to call and ask every time. Also, they didn't follow through on promises to call the manufacturer to check on it when I called them on a Saturday."

"Most satisfied. We bought a refrigerator from Appliance Associates and I never entered the store. I found the product on line and called and spoke to the nicest people. We discussed the refrigerator and I placed the order. Fortunately it wasn't an emergency replacement, but if it was, they offered a "loaner" to me. Yesterday, our new refrigerator was delivered to us. The guys called all of our contact numbers until they reached us and told us of their arrival time. We had plenty of time to unload the old and they came at the time promised with our new refrigerator. They removed the old one and set up the new one. Couldn't have been nicer. They are employees with Appliance Associates, not contractors, so they have some "skin in the game", which showed. No more big box purchases for me, I'm supporting local businesses. Thanks!"
