"I visited yesterday after finding out the Mexican restaurant I was going to was close to New Year's Day. Man. I am glad it was and I went to Monte Cristo instead. The service was quick. The food was awesome. The right way to start 2024! Eating food!!!"

"The food is ok sometimes it does need some seasoning. The customer services changes a lot depending on who is there and who helps you, specially if the order is to go. Normally when the gentleman that usually helps he gives me silverware, napkins, the bag full of veggies and the pupusas are placed in a big to go box. When it’s the usual lady that I see there I never get silverware, napkins, the bag of veggies less than half full( I order 4-7pupusas), and the order is placed in a small to go container. The pics are of today and it was the lady that helped me, the green salsa was super salty. I don’t understand why they are so stingy with things when it’s to go, but when you eat there they aren’t stingy with anything. They bring out a well size container of veggies and sauce and treat you a bit differently. Update: the pupusa special for Wednesday is no longer $1.30 they increased to $1.50 and as of 10/19/2022 they are not sold in single they are 3x$5. Would like for the filling portion to increase if beginning to charge more."

"Best pupusas in Houston hands down!! They were so warm, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The coleslaw and green salsa complimented the pupusas and made the dish complete. The man and woman are also very nice and ensured we had a great experience. Very affordable and they accept cards.. GO GO GO!!!"

"Whoa! It’s Christmas Day at noon and we are starving. This is right down the street and it was open! It did NOT disappoint! We gobbled up a quesadilla that was packed with everything: chicken cheese rice beans peas peppers. All of the things. They were polite and spoke little English but we got by just fine. Burrito is up next! So glad we stopped! Definitely coming back!"
