"I was greeted by a nice male employee who was unpacking boxes of merchandise when I walked in the door. Another employee, very nice, started a dressing room for me. When I was trying on clothes, I forgot to lock the door. A third employee tried to come in the room, and when she couldn't get the door to open completely, she didn't say anything, not even a quick "sorry." Then the lady who checked me out was in a huge rush. (I suspect this was the same lady from the dressing room incident.) I presented a pair of shorts, said that I needed them in a different length, and I said that the website said they're out of stock at this store. The lady went to look, came back with some shorts, and started to ring them up until I told her those were the wrong shorts. The lady checking me out was in a rush and made no eye contact at all. After over 40 years of loving shopping at Talbot's, I left feeling like I never want to go back. In the future, I'll just order online."

I was looking for a different size than what was on the storeroom floor, so she offered to look in the back for me and even held the item up to her since the person I was shopping for was about the same build. I'm not very familiar with this store, so I appreciated the extra help. Chieuanh rang me up and gave me a gift receipt. She wrapped my item nicely in the store bag. I got 40% off my purchase as well! I've always loved this shopping area, but now I have another reason. Will return!"
