"Perfect customer service!! JT is an amazing manager he goes above and beyond to meet the customers expectations. My food was fresh and my service was fast. The chicken Philly I received actually looked like the picture you guys advertised! Now that’s my kind of service"
"To be honest... A little disappointed. I waited until the last second; until my hunger overtook me, with that "empty pit" in your stomach feeling. I thought, "maybe I'll go to Charlie's, because it's quick, fast, and to the point." I parked in the parking lot at 8:37, walked in to a nearly empty Charlie's, figuring, GREAT, that this will be quick. Ignoring the fact that I wasn't greeted, waited silently there until 8:47. Two employees behind the counter, at a nearly empty joint at 830, I thought I was SET. Nope. One guy finally walks up nearly ten minutes later to say "pick up or ordering?" I said ordering to which he abruptly told me the wait is going to be at least 30 minutes. To which I said okay because I really wanted cheesesteak at this point. Then he did not even take my order, and immediately went back to the kitchen to work on something else. But I do believe it would be unfair to tell you that one of the only people waiting inside the restaurant with me at this point unbeknownst to me was another employee that had not clocked in for their shift yet. The first gentleman comes back up to the counter and says hey to the other employee off the clock and says hey I'm going to need you to clock in now if you can to which the employee responded back, "I need my minutes." Disgruntled, you could hear the employee behind the counter say softly he's about to write that employee up. Mind you it was 8:57 at this point so it's assumed that the other employee wasn't going to clock in until 9. PETTY. This is not how it seems that person is not a team player and should not have a job at all let alone be working with a team that NEEDS team players. It's not even like this employee is an avid cigarette smoker or has a reason to need those three minutes because they are currently sitting at the table nearest to the door inside the restaurant. Staring at their phone, like a mindless drone. Needless to say I felt for the first employee at this point, so when he finally got to asking me what I was going to order I kind of told him and then he responded to me pulling my card out to let me know I have to push the button that says no tip before I slide my card. Probably because he's so used to not getting tipped for his service that he's contributing to people that are walking on him. So I cash Tipped him and let him know that life goes on. I admire his restraint while dealing with a disgruntled employee."
"The gentlemen in store was very nice and will be back. First time trying and enjoyed the atmosphere while waiting and very fresh and delicious."
"The employee Kyonna and her manager were rude towards me. Kyonna intentionally gave me a beef steak instead of a chicken Philly coz I am Indian, inspite of me clearly ordering a chicken Philly. She even read back the order to me as chicken Philly sandwich before printing. And then handed me a beef sandwich. When I complained to the manager, he was concerned about supporting her and protecting his job, so he started saying things like I’m acting up. He did not return my money or give me the sandwich I wanted and said I should leave. When I was about to leave, he locked the door from inside and did not let me out. He said try going out now. Until another customer tried to open the door. I have never felt harassed like this before. I have also posted a picture of the way Kyonna served me the sandwich, with all the meat falling on to one side. Also, when I was walking towards my car, the manager again started taunting me by saying, ‘ohh so now you’re leaving, don’t you want your sandwich now?’. No wonder there are so many bad reviews about this place already."
"Cali and his staff was absolutely amazing from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. The chicken teriyaki philly was so delicious and the wings are unmatched. We were going to 7 spice but glad we decided to get Charley’s."
