Reviews
"I specifically asked for food to be cooked fresh and served hot. This did not happen. The staff was friendly but the food was awful."
"My service and food was nasty. No pecans, too many cranberries. No sauce for my nuggets. Cashier had an attitude. I love Wendy's. This location not getting my service anymore..."
"This is the worst place ever to eat… These people are so nasty… The food stay cold and stale… and when you ask for fresh food they get mad … No customer service, they are straight ghetto…. They will ask you can they help you , then u place your order , while you talking they will interrupted and say hold on , n have a whole conversation on their cell phone while they’re microphone is still on, not acceptable… They never change their gloves ( cross- contamination) They take forever just to serve you and sometimes forget your order and give you something different…. NEVER EAT HERE !!!"
"2018: Glad to see there was a location across from TDECU after UH 2018 spring game. Location was empty, fairly clean & drama free. But, had difficult time ordering when young black guy on the register did everything but take my order. He was more about trying to flirt & pickup one female guest, while I waited to place my order. He also keep engaging coworkers off the clock w lengthy conversation away from the counter as guests waited to be helped w a be "right there". The only reason that I didn't give them a worse review was they prepared my food exactly as I had asked, SUPRISED-but hey, that's what I'm paying for-but, was just worried Romeo hadn't been paying attention as I placed my order. So, while I noticed a few areas of concern (street/homeless people inside to use restroom; one eldery guy took so long I left), it was a dreary Saturday in April, so didn't experience any drama and enjoyed my meal. I'd go back only if I were attending a sporting event @ Robertson. I'll echo one reviwers comment of going there when the right employees are working and you'll be ok, not the highschool crew after 3 pm-I believe him. I guess, I got lucky. Update: visited the location in March 2019 and found several things: 1) the staff was poorly trained, prepared my order incorrectly several times and the store was less than clean; 2) that the students from Jack Yates were loud, aggressive, ill mannered and traveled in large packs loitering looking for drama, which turned me off as a patron; 3) that day several sheriff deputies were call to a disturbance near the store (see photos). The entire experience was unsettling, so I have decided to avoid this location all together. I suggest you should as well."
