"Great soup and sandwiches! Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. One of the best chefs in Sugarland/Houston for Asian cuisine. Please support this small local business."
"I felt absolutely welcomed when I walked in. I ordered salt and pepper tofu/ pickled cucumbers and a cold mixed meat bahn mi. The tofu was soft, but crispy. A ton of flavor plus the amount of veggies (onion/ garlic/ green onion) was great. The pickled cucumbers had me wanting more after I finished them. They had such great flavor, but also that nice crisp that comes with fresh vegetables. The bahn mi was exploding with flavor and was hot when it came out. I was greet by such a sweet lady and the chef came out to make sure my order was right and that I was enjoying it. This is for sure a weekly spot that we’ll come back to from now on."
"New Saigon Kitchen is an excellent hidden gem located inside of JUSGO Supermarket in Sugar Land, TX. I came here for the first time shortly after it opened and I have been coming back ever since. First of all, the Bánh Mì is incredibly delicious! I have had three different bánh mì so far. The Bò Mông Cổ (Mongolian Beef), Phi Lê Cá Chiên (Fried Fish Filet), and Đậu phụ (Tofu). I loved every single one of them. I haven’t even been able to move beyond the bánh mì, to try anything else, because they are so good. These bánh mì are all packed with flavor. The tofu in particular is exceptionally savory and very well seasoned. There is a peppery taste to these bánh mì that I do not recall tasting at other places, I’ve been. It’s a very unique taste to me and really makes the bánh mì stand out. The Fried Fish Fillet was new to me in a bánh mì án I love it. I’ve ordered one every time I go. I cannot say enough about the service. Every time I go there I am greeted with a smile and feel very welcomed. I am biased because the chef and his wife who works up front allow me to practice my tiếng việt when I order and always have patience with me. Sam, the chef has very interesting insights about the cuisine and has a genuine interest in his customers. The ambiance is very simple but suits the cuisine and location well. I like to sit on a stool inside and listen to the sounds of the kitchen or sometimes on the tables outside of the front door. If you want to eat some wonderful food and support a local business and business owner, this is a great place to do that."
"We had the braised beef noodle soup and lemongrass beef banh mi. The owner was really nice and friendly, and the portions are big. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite to eat at Jusgo."
"Great little place! Not a chain, but a real, honest to goodness mom and pop restaurant. I had the Teochew Satay Noodle with Beef Tenderloin. Very tasty, looked and smelled great! Stop in, you won't be disappointed!"
