"Mama Wu’s is one of the best spots to get Taiwanese-style railroad bentos in the Houston Area! Hidden in Jusgo Supermarket Sugar Land, this mom-and-pop shop offers affordable and authentic Taiwanese eats. I really enjoy the Taiwanese sausage, pork chop, and roasted chicken bento boxes. There’s not much seating, but it’s a good place to buy togo to bring home for lunch and dinner. Also, they usually close during the summers for a few months because the owners go back to Taiwan."
"mama wu’s kitchen is a hidden gem in sugar land, nestled inside jusgo supermarket on hwy 6. this spot offers authentic taiwanese-style pastries and bento boxes at an affordable price! they offer a diverse selection of bento boxes featuring soy-braised pork belly, pork chop, chicken and fish fillet, chicken leg, and sausage. each box comes with an egg, slices of sausage, pickled mustard greens and cucumber, and stir-fried cabbage over a bed of rice. it’s an ideal spot for a quick, filling, and comforting meal! what we got: ⋆ soy braised chicken leg quarter with rice ⋆ fried fish fillet with rice ⋆ pepper bun ☆ ⋆ grilled sausage ig: @whatsviveating"
"Healthy bento box. Not too salty and greasy. Pork chop is great."
"Very good and simple Taiwanese bento box meals for a low and decent price (under $10). I got the fish fillet bento box and it comes with cabbage, a few pieces of Taiwanese sausage, an egg, and pickled veggies. It's located in the Jusgo grocery store. It would be a awesome if they have popcorn chicken and shrimp bento boxes!"
"This restaurant adapted well to the pandemic and carefully lets people dine in with masks on. This restaurant has a smaller large space. The service was fast and the owner was nice. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are large for the price. I got a full meal for 6 to 7 dollars. The menu includes a large selection of authentic food. My fried pork chop meal was amazing."
