"The Indonesian Food here is amazing. If you are looking for an authentic indonesian food in Houston area, please do come and visit Warung Indo. Favorite dish to try is Nasi Campur (Nasi with Rendang, Tempe Orek, Telur Balado, and Sayur Lodeh)."
"Small family owned and ran restaurant. Food was ok, not excitingly delicious, but also not overly disappointing. It's edible but it wouldn't be a routine visit restaurant. Some dishes were better than others, and some lacked flavor. The fried food was dripping in oil as you ate it. Food took some time to be completed but the family was kind."
"the food was delicious! they tasted like how you would have it in Indo! We had lontong sayur (recommended!), batagor, mpek2 (recommended!), and bakso bakar. the owner was friendly and gave us free cendol cos it was my birthday! :) they also have a snack corner that also sells Indonesian spices and condiments."
"We were in town for Spring Break and wanted to try an Indonesian resto since Houston has a much larger Indo population than where we live. So there has to be a restaurant, right??! Warung Indo was excellent! We tried to pick and order a variety of items, but were too stuffed from eating the food. We did take some food to-go. The owner was very nice and had gladly provided us plates for when we got back to the hotel. Highly recommend for authentic Indonesian cuisine!"
"Absolutely amazing! I lived in Jakarta for 5 years and my wife is Indonesian — we have searched all over the state and this is by far the best, most authentic Indonesian food around. Huge variety, excellent flavor, good spice, big portions and great prices. Try it - it’s the best Indonesian food I’ve had in the states, and I’ll be returning often!"
