Reviews
"First let me a paint a picture of why this review was actually heartbreaking to do. I have been coming to this location for a DECADE… and for years the food was amazing however these last 3 years they have steadily increased the cost but decreased the quality. It’s already bad enough the restaurant has a horrible septic problem causing it to smell like a portable potty. That’s why I have 1 star for atmosphere but let’s talk about the service I paid $15/lb for live crawfish cause they go up every year. I usually get 3lbs spicy crawfish, 3 turkey necks and 3 sausages. What made me disappointed the most today was the fact that they are now charging $2.59 for each turkey neck???? The same turkey neck you can get for $2lbs at the meat market and that’s me getting it not what restaurants get discounted for at whole sale. INSANE. Also, the sausages are $2.59 each as well look at the pictures how how they cut the sausages to make sure you don’t have that much meat, the way they are price gouging is shameful.. last thing they don’t even SERVE you anymore, they call your ticket and you have to go up to the TakeOut Bar and bring your food to your table we had to ask for water, I just don’t understand how they plan to stay in business at this pace."
"First off, it had a little stench in there. Second, the light skin cashier is incompetent taking orders. Third, they used to put 2 nice size turkey necks in the bag, but now only put one very very small barely no meat necks for $2+ my sister said she used to buy from there, not anymore and I see why..Plus it’s salty..Won’t get my business anymore. They fell off, another couple of years they’ll be shut down."
"I ordered the lunch catfish and rice. The catfish was one of the best I've had. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. The rice was nice. It had baby shrimp and scallion, carrots and green peas and lots of flavor. Even the tarter sauce was great, mild but good taste. It was also super hot all the way to the last bite. For just under $10, the portion size and flavor is hard to beat. I'll definitely be back to try something else."
