"Over rated. The tortas aren't toasted at all, no crunch when you bite into it. Soggy bread. We were excited to try it out, left disappointed. I also ordered a hot dog that was upsetting. The weiner was completely sliced to where it resembled curly fries on a soggy bun."
"We tried this place for the first time @noon on a Saturday extremely packed but We still order a chilaquiles torta and a campechana we paid in cash and the wait according to the sever was @25min so we waited around 40min as soon as my partner went up to ask for the order he got it and we started walking out until i noticed it was only 1 torta so they said he got the wrong order and they gave him the correct one but again they gave him only one torta again so he went back a third time and the lady said they couldn't find his order ticket because he paid in cash how does that happen?so they remade his order right at this point it was about an hour of waiting.. the lady still told him "you don't need to be mad" other than that the tortas were good."
"After a long Thanksgiving weekend, my son and I were craving something different for lunch. We decided to try Tortas Gigantes el Enmascarado, a new place that had opened up in our area. We were so glad we did! We ordered a variety of items, including the Birria Tacos, La Carne Asada Torta Gigantes, and QuesaBirrias. Everything was delicious! For me, The Birria Tacos were the star of the show. The meat was so tender and flavorful, and the tortillas were perfectly crispy. The QuesaBirrias were also amazing. They were cheesy and gooey, and they came with a delicious dipping sauce. The La Carne Asada Torta Gigantes was huge! It was good that I ordered it as a "To Go" item since it was easily enough food for three or four people. The meat was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The service at Tortas Gigantes el Enmascarado was also excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to Tortas Gigantes el Enmascarado soon! It's the perfect place to go for a hearty and delicious meal. Highly recommend Tortas Gigantes el Enmascarado to anyone looking for a great Mexican restaurant in Houston, TX. You won't be disappointed!"
"Oct.25 2023 My friend and I saw these tortas on tik tok. We drove an hour from Conroe to eat these tortas and they did not disappoint. We got the Hawaiian tortas. Very delicious! We were so happy to finally try them. Great, friendly service too. They were always making sure if everything was OK in our table. I can't wait to go back again to try the rest of the menu. I recommend this place 100% :)"
"Delicious food. We had the Torta de chilaquiles and quesa birria. Both were good dishes. The torta is very big and easily shared between 2 people. The bread was soft and had plenty of ingredients. The only downside was the size of the place; it's on the smaller side, so be prepared to wait for a table or take the food to go. We came on a Saturday, and they were busy but still managed to have the food ready in about 30 minutes, which was entirely reasonable for the amount of customers they had. I would happily return and try out other dishes."
