"I LOVE Kenz!! My friend and I went here this past Sunday and had such a great experience. First off, the service was excellent. Everybody was so personable and warm. I really appreciate this because sometimes it can be hard to find quality service. That alone, will keep bringing me back. Second, I love the ambiance in the restaurant. Such beautiful decor that really transports you to another country. Lastly, the food was phenomenal! I had the Koshary, which is the Egyptian national dish and it’s also vegan, which I love! There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, as well. They gave us delicious, complimentary tea at the end of our meal too. RUN, don’t walk to Kenz! You won’t be disappointed!!"

"I wish I could add more pictures of the food, but I’ll be honest I barely took any. I orderd the all you can eat sampler and each time a dip or dish was brought out I had ZERO self control and immediately ate everything. I don’t leave reviews often, but when I say this is some of the best food I’ve ever had…I mean the best. I made audible noises with each taste and was incapable of conversation with the lovely owner or anyone else. The flavor, the texture everything was a yes for me. From appetizer to dessert I couldn’t get enough. I have made my man promise that every time he is in Houston that he will make a stop and bring me food back to Austin. "I would have liked to rate this place higher. They are actually very good and great food… however there were a few areas that were deficient and hence the rating. Let me start with saying that our server was really very nice and welcoming. We ordered our food, which took a while to arrive. In addition one of the sides were missed. We waited but then it was too late to get it, so we reminded them and let them know to take it off, however they ended up bringing it towards the end of the meal and made it on the house, which was a nice gesture. The server also let me try the lentil soup at request, which was really nice of them. We loved it and ordered it and that too was forgotten, which we didn’t bother to remind since we had finished our meal. The food overall tasted alright! The kicker was the $4 sprite bottle and $2 water bottle which wasn’t even asked for really, and I only realised when I picked the bill. It’s a small thing, and overall our dinner was around 50 bucks, but it was comparable and we would be willing to give this place another chance."
