"The shrimp was great. No veggie options were available. Dirty rice is not meant to be soupy. Everything else, my dogs loved it!"
"The honey glazed wings, meatballs, and fried chicken are really delicious! The Mac and cheese was just okay, but the pink Kool-aid is bomb!!! Definitely skipping the deserts next time, the peach cobbler and pound cake was terrible. I would only order meat the next time I go."
"Laney was kind and informed us about the menu and the establishment was clean inside. The meat was delicious. I felt some of the sides needed a little more love. Again, the customer service was GREAT. I’m not 100% sure I’ll be back, but below are my ratings per item. Chicken - 5/5 crispy, juicy, and not too greasy. Honey glazed shrimp - 4/5 great taste Yams - 3/5 small chunks, lacking flavor, and sweetness Green Beans - 4/5 standard and seasoned well Baked macaroni and cheese - 2/5 unfortunately the Mac and cheese was very dry and lacked flavor. We had more dry noodles than cheese noodles. We were hoping for something more cheesy and creamy. Cornbread - 3/5 standard cornbread tasted similar to jiffy (which I like)"
"On my way to work, I saw this spot sitting in the cut. I figured on my way home that I'd try it out. I stopped in for a bite. Inside the lobby where you order is really small and kind of confusing, but I figured it out at some point where to stand to start my order. When it was finally my time to order, some of the items were not available. The owner did offer to cook them if I was willing to wait, which was a nice gesture. I ended up trying their cat fish basket with a double side of greens. They also had meat loaf, which is my favorite food. I bought the last two on the line. The cat fish was good. It cooked to order so it was hot and fresh. I enjoyed it, but nothing to get excited about. The meat loaf was good as well, surprisingly since I generally don't like my meat loaf sweet. I actually enjoyed theirs. There are more items on their menu I'd love to try. Unfortunately, until then, the score is based on my first experience which was just ok. I would be back to try their deserts and other food items on the menu and then update my review."
