"It's a nice Chili's. Best part is the service. I really like the Manager, from Indiana! We got to talk Colts for a few! The salsa is not as substantive as I would like. It was a bit too juicy, however, the flavor was on point. The rest of our meal was good. My struggle with this location is the bright sun coming thru the windows combined with the view of I-10 and Katy Freeway in my constant peripheral. Once I realized why I was not able to relax and enjoy my meal, we pulled blinds. This helped a bit, but I was still mildly distracted by the traffic. If you are ADD, I recommend asking to be seated on the left and near the back to avoid feeling restless."

"Ridiculous amount of ice the bartender puts in the drink/margarita. I literally took 4 sips and my drink was gone! EASE UP ON THE ICE!! stop being stingy with the drinks smh Service was great. For reference we came here on August 16th around 8pm whoever the bartender is needs to work on their skills. I paid $11 for basically a few sips. Plus I asked for a strong margarita and it wasn’t. I’m disappointed"

"Location is right off of the freeway so that’s a plus! Let’s discuss why I gave this location 3 stars. First, the wait to be seated was longer than it should have been. Myself and my husband were the only two people waiting and the restaurant was not busy at all. Second, there was an overwhelming smell permeating the entire restaurant. It wasn’t unpleasant by any means, just so strong. It was as if it was masking something else. Again, not unpleasant but when in a restaurant you want to smell food, not the strong scent of fresh linen and definitely not both scents together. Third, this location needs a bit of updating. It’s starting to look dated and has ripped seats in the booths that have definitely seen better days! On a positive note, our server was great and our food was good! I really enjoyed the Cajun chicken pasta. My hubby really enjoyed his Bacon avocado chicken sandwich . He also had the enchilada soup which he loved. He loved it so much that I couldn’t even get a photo. Overall an enjoyable experience."

"Our family decided to wrap up our spring break with a dinner at Chili's located at 12131 Katy Freeway. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable, leaving a sour taste in our mouths. To start, we ordered mac and cheese for my daughter, while I opted for the smokehouse combo. To our dismay, the food was anything but fresh. The back ribs in my combo were dry and stale, lacking the tenderness and succulence one would expect from such a dish. The mac and cheese was a similar disappointment, devoid of the creamy, cheesy goodness that should be a given in this classic comfort food. Upon expressing our concerns to the server, we were met with an unapologetic response. Rather than addressing the issue, he merely stated that the staff doesn't touch the ingredients - they just open the bag and heat it up. This lack of accountability and the poor quality of the food we received was truly disheartening. For a restaurant that prides itself on providing a quality dining experience, Chili's at 12131 Katy Freeway fell extremely short of expectations. With a myriad of other dining options available, I would not recommend wasting your time or money here."
