"I've been taking my car to Pepboys for 6 yrs now. I've never had bad service. This time is was for an oil change and tire rotation. Great service and Ryan is always honest with letting me know what needs to be done or changed with my car. Case in point, back in January '23 my check engine light came on and it was blinking at the same time. Ryan called Hyundai and gave them my VIN # and he found out that my engine was on recall. So I got a brand new engine and exhaust manifold free from Hyundai. My car, a Hyundai Sonata, at the time had about 225000 miles on it. Nothing but the best service!"
"Service time was timely. However the person I was talking to during the whole time Josh I believe the name was; was very unfriendly. He seemed irritated and quick to respond in order for me to stop talking and leave. I hope he isn’t like this 24/7, as I will have to take my service elsewhere. I only come to this location specifically for Ryan. He is the kindest person I’ve met and I drive out of my way for his customer service."
"Very upset with the services i received at this pepboys. I always came here because they always did a great job. This time around i came to get an oil change which is nothing new because i always get them here. A couple days later I noticed that my car was leaking oil each time i drove to work in the morning. We checked my oil level and found that it was only half full which it should have been 100% full since i had only gotten an oil change a couple days ago. I brought my car back to pepboys to see if maybe they left a screw loose on accident. When we showed the pictures to the worker he claimed that it was just the a/c condensation leaking water however if it was water wouldn’t the trails dry up? i have 3 days worth of oil trails on my driveway! anyways instead of admitting fault and fixing the issue they just sent me on my way with half a tank of oil. i brought my car to a different shop where they were able to ensure my oil tank was closed and even topped off my oil for me. pepboys put paint on the oil screw so that way if anyone else messed with it and i took it back to them they could say it wasn’t their fault cause someone else did something to it. will not be coming back here"
"I had a flat tire a needed a new one. Don’t really know much about cars so I asked them to order the same type I had on. They didn’t have one in stock so they ordered one, had it installed a couple days later. When they were done, I noticed the tire was completely different then the rest. I confronted them about it and the same person helping me from the other day tried to convince me they were the same but even I knew it was completely different. One of my worst fears about going to a auto shop is getting juked and that what happened. The person was unprofessional and rude. Told me if I wanted a refund I’d have to pay the restock fee for the tire even though they were the ones they ordered it for me. He didn’t listen to what I had to say at all and basically shrugged me off and went back inside. Next day I called corporate about it and they told me that was wrong of them and granted my full refund. Super unnecessary and took a lot of my time.
