Taco Palenque Broadway

"I normally like ordering from Taco Palenque but I mistakenly stopped at the worst location. It all started with after I placed my order and the drink I pib which they were out of so I want with coke. After I got my drink they gave me a diet cause they were out of coke as well. Which was whatever at that point. Made it all the way home (which this location is closer to my work than my house.) (30 min away) they forgot my wife’s order which as a married you know the rest of my night went. She called to let them know and the only way they could give us what they forgot is drive 30 minutes away and back just cause they didn’t check to ensure I got everything. Definitely will not be going back to Taco Palenque at all!"

"The food flavors are five stars, no doubt! It’s the same flavor that I fell in love with back in 1988, when I first visited Laredo. The service has always been good too, no complaints there. However, THE PORTIONS HAVE DECREASED BY FAR IN BOTH THE PANCHOS AND THE PIRATAS. The amount of fajita in the Panchos used to be enough to fill at least 2 people or even up to 3… not anymore. Now they serve a small measured amount, about 1 large taco’s worth. Also, there’s a smaller portion of beans in it too. In the Panchos, they used to have a healthy portion of fajita, enough to make 2 tacos, they also had double tortilla. Now, it’s just 1 healthy taco’s worth and only 1 tortilla, yet the prices of the food have increased. For that reason, I don’t buy food at Taco Palenque as often as I used to and now I’ll be coming even less. It’s just so disappointing to receive the smaller portions. That deep disappointment is the reason for only 2 stars."
