Las Palapas - Tezel

"We always order from the Las Palapas in Alamo Ranch and they have GREAT customer service. Today, my husband was in the area by the tezel one so I told him I would place an order in the app for pickup. After multiple tries and the app failing I finally called in the order. The lady who answered the phone kept cutting me off and hung up before I was done. My husband gets there to pick up the order and comes home telling me that he also had a bad customer service experience and felt like we were a bother to the staff there. Then, I sit down to eat my barbacoa taco and it has no cilantro or onion like it’s supposed to and the lemon they gave us looks old. Very disappointing experience."

"I was reluctant to eat here due to the negative reviews, but I tried it anyway. The reviews were accurate. The food was cold, and I had to get them to reheat. Then, it returned overcooked and dry. All could be avoided by serving hot plates like at the other Las Palapa restaurants. Blanco and West Ave is the place to go. Food was not spiced correctly and bland. Tables were dirty and had to ask to be cleaned. Wait staff was nice though."

"The food has been consistently good. The service, specifically, Miss Laura, is really nice, we always try to get her as our waitress when we go. She's fast, always checks to see if you need anything, doesn't forget about you, very friendly and courteous. Very hard worker. She's a great people person."

"Other locations have set the bar high for nachos. Unfortunately, this was another everyday naco dump in a box. It was fresh but messy and put together quickly. 12/3/23 it's hard to resist those Chicken Ranch Tacos"

"The food is always fresh and hot here. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were excellent. The plate was an excellent value at 9.99. I couldn't even finish it. The staff and the manager Jose were very attentive."
