"We’ve been there before in the evening ,and the food and service is amazing . Today ,I decided to go and get some tripa tacos for me and my wife. Each taco was so underserved and was so skimpy we ended up having to cook breakfast because none of our tacos had a decent amount of tripas. With prices being what they are today , I didn’t expect to get served like this."
"Really good food that tastes like home cooking...and reasonably priced!! The wait staff is great...friendly, fast and attentive. The atmosphere is what yo would expect from a modest restaurant, nice clean, not overdone but has hints of Mexican decor throughout. Breakfast, lunch and dinner hit the spot every time. Their menu has something for everyone to enjoy. A broader menu, better aesthetic and slightly better food would make it 5 stars across the board for what it is."
"I just purchased two tacos and they only gave me one hot sauce for two tacos. I asked for another hot sauce and they were going to charge me $.25. This is outrageous I get it we’re all suffering due to inflation but one tiny hot sauce for two tacos is ridiculous. You need to restructure your business process when it comes to selling tacos in San Antonio, Texas. This is nonsense. This is ridiculous."
"This dated, quaint Mexican restaurant has friendly service. However, the restaurant had a fly buzzing around, a gnat fly out of our tortilla holder with fresh tortillas in it when we opened it, and a flying beetle-like bug land on my head. My husband had the Mexican plate and said it was bland, even after adding salt. I had the street taco plate. The Al Pastor tacos were delicious, but the Asada taco was okay. The chips and salsa were amazing. The food was also expensive compared to other Mexican food in the area. Needless to say, we will not be back."
