"This was a great Mexican restaurant. The food was amazing and flavorful. Our waiter was helpful and attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. They had great drinks and the queso was really good. If you like good Mexican food this is a place you have to check out."

"This is the best food from the Central Mexico region with warm friendly staff with an amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you are on on vacation. Great seating inside and outside. Went on a Saturday and the DJ was outside playing and it was not so loud it was part of the atmosphere. We found them on Instagram and began ordering off their profile. The Choriqueso, the Papa Loco, Street Tacos, frozen lime margarita and a tres leeches cake. The salsa that comes with the chips was also hot. It was more than we could eat but every bite was so good. They had a large group come in but they tool care of us like family. It has a downtown vibe but West Ave. at Wurzbach Parkway has little traffic and enough parking. Take your family here. Thank you so much for wonderful service and food."

"Came tonight for a birthday celebration. Food was pretty good and the service was nice. The only problem I had was when it came time to pay, everything was fine but when we went to walk out, they stopped us and told us they voided all of our checks and ended up charging us more on our checks. HUGE waitress mistake that we ended up paying for. Some of our party left already and they wanted them to drive all the way back to come pay. I had given her a cash tip the first time and when they decided to void all of our check, they added 22% gratuity to the next one so beware. Wonder how many other people they have done this too"

"The food was not the best. The queso blanco dip had flour in it. A lot of flour! If it’s not pure queso dip then you should say it’s not. My dad ordered the bistek plate, but it was a ground beef patty drenched in sauce. Very sad! I give it three stars because the service was great and the alcoholic drinks were on point! If not, I would’ve given 1 star."

"Visited a new restaurant, Palomar Comida and Cantina, in my neighborhood that had a good ambiance. The positives—the margarita flight, Mexican Cobb, and table side guacamole were good. The negatives—the restaurant was understaffed and we waited almost a half hour for drinks, with reservations, and an hour and a half for our orders. The street tacos were basic and lacked flavor. The restaurant wasn’t too busy as it was later in the evening, and we were given the wrong ticket that took twenty minutes to correct. The restaurant has a lot of potential, and I am hopeful it’s improves with more staffing."
