"Please consider bringing cash or a pre-paid Schlotzsky's gift card with you to pay for your food here if you choose to come here (Store #1554). Yesterday evening at 5 pm, I came here as a walk-in to order some food and was told by the cashier that "The credit card reader isn't working, I'll need to run your card in the back" - I looked at the secure-chip reader on the counter and it appeared to be illuminated and operational. I didn't feel good about it, but I quickly swapped my debit card for my credit card with a much lower limit and handed it to him. He proceeded to take a minute and a half of alone time with it as a voice emanated from his phone - he told me that it was a webinar that he was attending without me prompting him with a question about it. I wasn't given a receipt until he handed me my food without one and I had to ask for one to be printed. I hung back for a minute and watched him interact with the next customer and he told him the same thing about the card reader, but that "Oh, you have a gift card, that should work fine on here". I wasn't sure if it was a Visa or Schlotzsky's card, but it seemed incongruous that the cashier would encourage using a partially operational device. I turned off access to my card as soon as I got back in my car. Caveat emptor / Buyer beware!"
"The drive-through was super quick. They forgot to add my advocado, $2 wasted, but the sandwich itself was still pretty good. I love their Jalapeños chips. They are some of my favorites. I guess they were out of their normal pickle bags, so they gave me mine in this big green ziploc. Lol."
"Abel and his staff were awesome! It was so good the first time, we came back the next day. I hadn’t eaten at Schlotzkys in years and couldn’t get enough of it. The food was great and came it quick."
"I get there and it's dead. I walk into the bathroom and it's dirty. There's a wrapper for to-go utensils and toilet paper on the floor. The floor needs to be mopped. But the faucet had hot water, which was so nice. I get to the counter and there was someone there to greet me, very polite. I tell her my order is for here, and i go for my drink. The lemonade dispenser is not working. I go for rootbeer, it comes out clear. So i go for sprite and it was fine. I see that a booth is torn and has been taped over, it looks like its been that way for a while. I go sit down. The chair is missing a foot, so is the table, and from what I could see most of the tables needed to be wiped down. I wait for my order, and someone else brings me my order to go. No biggie. I reach in my bag, it's wet. The bottom is wet. They put a soaked bag that a pickle spear was in. It wasn't pickle juice. Melted ice maybe? The sandwich was great, chips were fine. All I can say is, I would recommend going through drive through. Really management, fix your store, it's falling apart!!"
"I came in on Thursday at 4 pm. I was the only one there. I noticed there were some dirt tables as soon as I walked in but not a lot. I ordered the pick 2 for 10.99 and a bag of chips. The service was friendly and helpful since I’m a vegetarian. It did take about 15 mins to prepare. The food was good."
