"Stopped in a couple times in the last month fixing up my Volkswagen and Mathew has been ever so helpful and knowledgeable every time. I really appreciate him taking the time to explain and show me how to replace various items on my Jetta. He was also training a newer employee and showing him the ropes. Thank you to both of these young men, I will be back!"
"I had a absolutely terrible experience with the manager Lloyd today after having an emergency. Two days ago my tire went flat and I was able to make it to AutoZone and I was getting my spare to change the tire, to add to my terrible day I proceeded to lock my keys and FOB inside the car. I went in and talked to two really decent, kind young men who took my name and information and said it would be okay to leave the car there a few days. As it turns out I needed to leave it there until Sunday. I asked the manager on duty if it would be possible to come get it this weekend. He said yes as long as I got it before Sunday. This morning I get a call from Lloyd. He informed me that the car was going to be towed and I needed to come get it. Not only did he have no empathy or professionalism, he was very rude. I have had two strokes and I have two tumors on my adrenal glands, and while I'm not begging for sympathy, just a little decency would have went a long way. I went there and spoke to Lloyd and he was just as rude in person. Not only did he not even ask me for my ID, as I told him I was going to attempt to get into my car, I asked him if there was any wedge there to help my pry my frameless window open. I wasn't looking for a gift, I was looking to purchase anything and just get any helpful advice. Once again he was rude and so unhelpful. AutoZone is a great store. Every employee I talked to showed great customer service, unfortunately the manager, in my opinion needs to be trained in customer service and he can learn a lot from the young men working for him. Again the store is great, the manager was absolutely terrible."
"Jonathan is my go to guy here. Professional, personal, and most important, kind. Thank you for providing service that exceeds the expectation."
"John Scott is an assistant manager of this particular store. I stopped there to possibly purchase a battery, and when they did not have the one I was looking for he informed me where I could get it and then shook my hand and thanked me anyway for stopping at his store. The kind way in which he treated me was impressive. I then went to about 5 other stores all the way to Denton looking for a battery and I must say the treatment was less than favorable. The desire to meet my needs was no where present. I stopped and said to myself, even though Auto Zone did not have the battery I was looking for, Mr. John Scott certainly was the type of person I want to deal with. As I entered his store he looked at me and said, " talk to me. You need a battery." I soon left there in a few minutes with my car starting up immediately again. I wish there was time to tell you all the other things that happened which were a positive impression, like he refused a tip for installing my battery saying "having you as a customer is more important to me than that." I will drive 50 miles out of my way to purchase any item I need that this Auto Zone store offers. If there were only 100 more people in this entire world like John Scott, this world would be an amazing place to be a part of. Thank you so much Mr. John Scott!"
"Aiden was the best. He was incredibly polite, helpful, patient, and very understanding. I was overwhelmed, and he definitely made my day 100% better when he helped me. I couldn't find a manager email, so I sincerely hope someone on the managerial team sees this, so he can get proper recognition."
