"I was excited to discover this new to me long running health food store & restaurant. I love healthy lunch options and think they are lacking in Houston for the size of the city. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich to go. It comes in a choice of either classic with celery & onion or cranberry & walnut. I wanted the cranberry & walnut and specifically asked if there was either onion or celery in it as I do not like either. I was told there was not. The sandwich is served with housemade chips. The service was very friendly & quick. When I got home with my sandwich I was starving & ready to eat! In the first bite, I could taste the celery. There were also, maybe...4 cranberries in the salad mix. There also seemed to be no other seasoning whatsoever. It really tasted like bland chicken & celery. The chips did not taste fresh & were also bland & not very crispy. If I hadn't paid $16, I probably would not have eaten it at all."

"I absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh and healthy which is a very important factor for me. Their vegan chili pie is a must try! My husband and I always order this and something else to share. Over the years we've had a number of dishes. Today I ordered the beyond burger with cheese, grilled onions and jalapenos. It was cooked to perfection. The grilled onions really made the burger. I do wish they offered fries or potatoes instead of chips. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing. I had the strawberry cake tonight and highly recommend it! The cake was very moist and the fresh strawberries and icing was delicious. They are very accommodating to most, if not all, dietary needs. The market is also convenient if you need to pick up groceries. I wish there was a location in midtown but the drive out here is worth it."

"I just LOVE this place! Moveable Feast has been my go-to for years - even before I was healthy or vegan. Lisa, the owner, is so amazing and kind. She really keeps this whole store and restaurant clean, welcoming and I can find things here I cannot anywhere else. At the restaurant, I love the veggie plate and having breakfast at Moveable Feast. The burrito is gigantic and so tasty with the vegan cheese on top. Thank you, Moveable Feast for years of service to the Houston community."

"Have wanted to share a meal here many times. Finally visited on a day when they were open. We each had a “chefs choice” dish. My salad was crisp, fresh, delightful. Mel’s vegetables had robust “farm fresh” flavor! Of the thousands of choices, this is our new favorite!"

"This Healthy Cafe is hidden within a Health Food Store that offers countless vegan options. They do offer animal proteins, vegetarian options along with vegan options. Their food is distinct in its flavor as they utilize local organic produce when available. The dish that I decided to try was the “Happy Veggie Patty Sandwich” paired with sliced potatoes as a side. The sandwich itself was delicious, especially the patty which was super sized. The avocado along vinaigrette coke slaw packed a distinct flavor. I would say the potatoes was my favorite part of the dish since they were seasoned perfectly. Once the meal was devoured, I felt satisfied, not stuffed. Seating options are tables with booths which are extremely comfortable! They do also have fresh pastries along with some local ice cream popsicles. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a flavorsome meal!"
