"Not sure why a Croissant that's not fresh, it was old and chewy and a served cold latte would cost $15. Common bond down the has better quality for lower price. Same order for about $10. They remade my latte of course, but quality vs price is super low. Atmosphere is very mediocre, decor is boring, music does not fit. I understand that it's a bar as well, however it can managed better. Staff are nice , the reason I gave 3 stars is for attention for detail. Lots if work needs to be done. Charging high prices is not going to make it up for your slow nights of liquor sales."

"Came here for pre-dinner drinks on a Friday night. We had a 6:30 reservation and after checking in with the very friendly hostess we were taken straight to our booth. The bar is up a flight of stairs on the back side of Anvil. The vibes are very moody/sexy with low lighting and table lamps. Service was great and I loved the presentation of our cocktails. I had a tequila neat and my husband went with Bobby's martini which was served with a side dish of olives. Great spot for before or after dinner cocktails!"

"I LOVED the atmosphere here! It’s small and intimate. A good place to catch up with a friend or hunker down and get some work done. They have Love Croissants which are AMAZING! My friend and I ordered lattes. One iced one hot. They’re good but nothing special! I’ll definitely come again though. Really enjoyed being here. Parking is a little hard to find though. There’s two lot options behind the building and in front on the side street."

"Omg!!! I love the speakeasy style bar atop the cafe. The ambience was moody and the vibes felt like I was not in Houston but on vacation. The customer service was top notch and every person working that evening spark genuine conversation and made my group and I feel welcomed. Kristen went above and beyond in her service and hospitality creating space for our group to come to her with questions about whatever (the venue, the menu, and recommendations) Omw will be returning very soon!"

"Visited during the day for coffee. It was very good and so was the almond croissant. Interior of the place is very nice and comforting. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Parking was across the street. Make sure you don't try to come in or out of that parking lot through Westheimer and it's a curb and not an actually entrance."
