"We have eaten here many times and it’s always been so good. But the past few times we’ve been it’s just been different and not in a good way! Today, I was there early so the only thing I can think of is that the ribs I was given were from yesterday! They were like jerky!! And the “moist” brisket was dry! Very disappointing. And it’s soooooo$$. Sorry, but we’re will not be back."

"You step out of your car and you’re mouth is already watering. It’s “line” style ordering like other BBQ restaurants in the area. We grabbed some drinks from the bar and sat down to dig in. I inhaled my pulled pork baked potato, but managed to get a photo of my husband’s 3 meat platter. We were stuffed but couldn’t resist the peach cobbler and homemade banana pudding…YUMMM! So If you’re in the mood for BBQ there’s a dozen places to try. If you’re in the mood for GREAT BBQ…then you’ve found your spot! We look forward to some warm nights out on their patio!"

"Extraordinary Experience: My wife and I happened by in a quest for Chicken Fried Steak and although we would not expect to find it in a Barbecue Restaurant, Google Maps said it would be here and so it was! And my goodness, it was Gigantic! This Plate-Sized Behometh was well-breaded, dripping with gravy and Delectable. Sides of Green Beans and Taters were also amply portioned and Delish. And it was with my Gamblers Spirit, (never leave the table when on a roll), I tried the Ribs,.. and was not disappointed. Juicy, Smokey and with a Unique Bark these Ribs satisfied. But more impressive than the Fare was the kind attentions giving us by Mark, Owner /Operator of Back Forty. He made sure we were comfortable and happy; even making valuable menu substitutions to quell our finicky tastes! Rest Assured we left Fat & Happy with plenty of take-out to snack at home. "First time there, some friends recommended the place. The staff were so friendly!! The food was pretty awesome!! I chose the chopped brisket sandwich, loved it! BBQ sauce was great!! Wife chose the pork ribs, it was pretty awesome too!! I'll be going back to try other dishes on the menu!!"

"Wow! What else to say but wow! The wife and I love anything BBQ and love trying new places but this time she ate all the coleslaw first. Said it was on point! Lol. The brisket and ribs are to die for. The sauce is perfect, not sweet, not tart just perfect. The staff is knowledgeable when asked about the cuts and were helpful on the menu since it was our first time in. This is my new favorite BBQ place in the State of Texas not just the DFW area. I will be bringing friends here to impress."
