Reviews
"Let me start by saying that my wife and I frequented Heights Asian Cafe many times before we moved away from Houston in 2018, and we were never disappointed. Since moving back last August, we have not had a single good experience despite eating there several times, holding out hope that the Heights Asian Cafe of old would return. After our latest experience, we are abandoning that hope. We ordered a single vermicelli bowl to be delivered (Door Dash), with an ETA of 20 minutes. After a half an hour I called for an update that they claimed it was out for delivery. We waited another 30 minutes and the food did not arrive (we also live in the Heights). I tried calling several more times and my call was denied as if the line wasn't active. When I finally got through they claimed that the order was out for delivery (they use their own delivery people...not Door Dash "Dashers"), and they clicked through that my order was "delivered". It was not delivered for another 15 minutes (75 minutes after ordering), and it was colder than room temperature with fewer than a couple bites of pork to the order. The noodles were nothing but mush, and it was delivered without any of the requested utensils or sauces. Needless to say, we will never be ordering from Heights Asian Cafe again, especially when there are so many other options in Houston."
"The food was okay and tasted like it catered to the clientele that goes there. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that. Just not my cup of tea for an authentic tasting meal. We ordered tofu spring rolls (didn't care too much for the sauce), veggie egg rolls, and tofu luc lac (this dish was overly salty and fried a bit too long). It was edible but there was something off with the taste. Prices are reasonable for the amount that you get. The service was fast and our waitress was very nice. Plenty of parking."
"My new favorite spot and I don't live close but I'm he for it"
"Enjoyed lunch here today, food was delicious. My server on point. Really good place for lunch time, good meal proportion for less than 12 dollars and packed with flavor."
