"Rustika did a beautiful job with a king cake (plus custom message). First of all, it was MASSIVE. For the price (which was more competitive than much smaller cakes elsewhere), I was expecting something tiny. The person to whom I delivered it also said it was the best king cake they've ever had (and we used to live in New Orleans). The delivery was also seamless. The delivery person made sure to call when they were on the way. They were pretty much on time. All around, A+ experience. I don't live in Houston, but if I did, Rustika would be my go-to."
"Unwelcoming experience, rude customer service. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it genuinely tasted like water. They need to bring in better products and better workers. Will never go back."
"Got a piece of “pan de muerto” for $16.24 it was almost burnt from underneath. A 16oz piece at HEB is $6.22. I expected much more for that price, including orange zest and orange essence which is typical for this kind of food."
"Service was slow. Food was meh. Ordered the breakfast tacos, the strawberries and cream pancakes from the specials menu, and a dish from the specials menu that I don't recall the name and was not expecting when it arrived at the table. The tacos were okay. The pancakes were very dry and dense and did not come with enough syrup. The egg dish smothered in green sauce was bland and had way too much sauce. All of the dishes were overpriced for the lack of quality. We will not be returning. There are far too many good restaurants in Houston."
"First was great and dessert really hit the spot. The coffee was delicious, the turtle coffee and the regular drip coffee. I ordered the chicken fajita bowl and it was awesome. A very generous portion and it tasted like my own mother made it. We also had some cookies and they were great. Had no issues with the service. You place your order up front and they bring you your food."
