"Went for brunch with a friend. We both got the Southtown Brekky, the toast had WAY too much butter or something on both sides, the bacon appeared to be candied and it made it hard, the sausage had an odd flavor but it was pretty good, the eggs were great, and there were only a few tator tots, I wish there had been a few more because they were good. Also got the crème brûlée French toast to share and this is where things went downhill. It’s a rather large piece of bread and I think that is the problem that I read about in other reviews. It was wet, soggy, uncooked in the middle. Within 20 minutes of eating I had an upset stomach and well, I’ll spare you those details. It had the potential to be good, but it just wasn’t cooked. What sent me over the edge and prompted my review is that while waiting for my friend to use the bathroom, the hostess asked me why I thought the French toast was raw and I told her because it wasn’t cooked, she asked me if it was cold and I told her no, it was just completely wet, soggy, uncooked in the center. She told me it was meant to be that way, that it was their interpretation of a tres leches. Well, crème brûlée and tres leches are two different things and when you make French toast you use eggs to soak the bread, by not cooking it completely, you are exposing diners to raw eggs. If they were to make the slices thinner, they would be able to accomplish what they were trying to make. It should be creamy like a custard in the center, not wet. Disappointing to say the least. I moved here from Las Vegas, maybe my expectations are too high, but take it for what it’s worth, $20 for undercooked food is not reasonable. Luckily my server removed it from our check. And by the way, our server was great, very kind, not overly attentive,so we could eat and talk without constant interruptions, and the place itself is beautiful. It’s downtown so be prepared to hunt for parking and make sure you factor in the cost of paying to park."

"Blush was a top notch stop for brunch on a Friday just before noon. We had 7 different plates and they were all done very well and presented in a style not like anywhere else. Indoor and outdoor seating with impeccable service. I encourage locals to go check it out and we will be back."

"Delicious food! The sangria was spectacular as well. We ate on the patio and it looked to be pet friendly (cute little tri-pod pooch at the next table). Staff was friendly and welcoming. Great for a special occasion splurge or a lovely spot to meet up with friends. Have to try the pastries next time!"

"Went there for a brunch date with my husband. We enjoyed the environment. It was so vintage and loved its floral wallpapers. Beautiful atmosphere. Parking could be tricky. Had to park on street. Staff lady was nice and friendly. She knew how to serve us well. We ordered Bread Basket, King William’s Benedict, and Hott Chicken. Both protein dishes were surprisingly delicious. They were perfectly moist, not too dry. There was a cute bakery that you could check it out. Positive experience with this restaurant."

"It was our first time here. We came back after the owner Efren invited us the day prior and we couldn’t be wrong. We got sit right away but reservations are encouraged because it has a hight demand. Our server was very friendly and attentive but still in a newly position. The food took a little bit longer than expected but well worth the wait. We ordered the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and kings William egg Benedict; the food was on point and the flavors complemented each other. We finished our brunch with dark roasted hot coffee and pumpkin and apple danish pastries. The place has been open for about six months ago and it’s seems they have hit the jackpot. Must go for all the locals on weekends. Definitely coming back! Well done!"
