"The super nachos barely look super aside from being super dark and over cooked. Their tortillas are amazing and the rest is subpar. The service is absolutely horrible if you so much as mention food being burnt. It was darker than it should have been with black edge chips. It's burnt. I would have given more stars for the taste but the service was just that bad."
"We asked for Tripitas tacos médium done and they brought them burnt. We asked for horchata and the cup is 2/3 of ice and 1/3 horchata. They charge extra for cilantro and onion, 50 cents every taco, weird! Sad, it used to be a good place a few years ago."

"This place tastes just like it was cooked at your abuela's house! The tortillas, refried beans and potatoes are how I judge places first. Amazingly good! After that, of course, everything is great, but you could literally just eat beans and tortillas all day there! Great prices too!"
"If you find yourself in Boerne and have a craving for old school, retro Tex Mex because you love it as much as I do you will absolutely want to come here for a combo plate. But on the weekend you can also get ppsole! I was torn, but opted for the enchilada plate and was so pleased. And the thick and non-greasy flour tortillas were great."
