Cafe Piro manages to do all of that, while also honoring sacred Piro traditions, one of the original Indian tribes of Socorro. From the instant I walked in, I was greeted and made to feel so comfy in their space. Their display of local artists’ work is just as tasteful as their delicious food, with unique and authentic flavors, it’s hard to believe it’s plant based. They often have live music that brings people together, so it’s also a great way to make some friends. The owners Mel and Gabe are always present to serve and enjoy the community. Their heart really shows throughout the space and I’m really grateful that there’s a unique spot such as this one in the heart of Socorro."
