"I finally ate here for the first time. I had the cancun platos, and they were excellent. My sister enjoyed the blackened catfish as well."
"Had great expectations but the food was ok at best. I had the sirloin and it was tough as shoe leather. The flavor was good and temperature was perfect but the meat itself was less than stellar. The potatoes were over flavored with garlic and that was the overriding flavor in the meal. I did like the green beans. The other people in my party all enjoyed the food but almost every meal was over cooked or missing ingredients. We will skip this stop next trip"
"Caleb was amazing! He was not our waiter but we observed him for a few hours serving a table of 17. He was very impressive. He made sure their order was accurate and there drinks were never empty! Not mention they were ordering shots! He took over 7+ credit cards at one time separated by each finger. Truly exceptional service. Although we were not receiving the same level of service from our waiter this review is worth writing to recognize Caleb at Teddy Jack's in Amarillo. PS: Bartender...smile..don't make your customers feel like we are a inconvenience being here to spend our money. Your level of respect for fellow employees was a little disappointing. Hope to receive better service on our next trip."
"To be fair, the food is very good. However, the portions don't seem to equal or exceed the price. The entree salad I had came in a huge bowl, but didn't seem to have enough food in it. The peach cobbler was good, but also was lean on substance to it. Maybe I came in on an off day for the kitchen staff, but other meals at tables around me were much larger potions. I'll try this place again in a few months and update the review accordingly."
