Reviews
"Fantastic park for mountain biking. DO NOT HIKE HERE! seriously DO NOT HIKE OR RUN HERE. It is dangerous for everyone involved if you hike, walk, or run here. This park is specifically for mountain biking. Many people have reviewed this place as a great place to hike but I have nearly hit people on my bike here several times. There are very few places to ride around this area and tons of places to hike. Mountain bikers are riding at this park seriously and are moving upwards of 20mph minimum with blind corners everywhere and blind hills it is not safe to walk at Town Run. Just go anywhere else there are tons of options. Go to Richy Woods or Fort Harrison for a dog walk, hike,or run. Please for your safety and everyone riding here."
"Beautiful well maintained trail. Tons of shade and well marked. There were portapoties at the trail head. I'll definitely be back!"
"A great trail run for runners! Offers some light hills and easy meadow trails. Be aware of bikers coming behind and be sure to follow the trail direction for your specific day! Overall great scenery and exposure to the local river. Great option for a long or short trail run. Seems like an easy option for mountain bikers!"
"Excellent dirt trail prime for biking and suitable for the alert walker/runner. With glimpses of the white river and a winding path this gem of a park is situated between 465, a housing addition and a sort of commercial district. Don’t forget to ride under 465 and hit the south loop for an extended trip. You might as well stop at Oliver Woods Preserve while you are there. Enjoy plenty of parking and an area suitable for a semi-sketchy kayak launch (this could be revamped a bit) or take out. This park is perfect for a lowkey Sunday stroll. Enjoy!"
