The Gingerbread House 1921 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 31401

"Awesome vacation rental in a great, walkable location. Lots of room for hanging out playing games and cooking in the large kitchen. Very clean and well stocked. The downstairs has the kitchen, large living room, and separate men's and women's bathrooms, each with two toilets (one being a urinal in the men's). Upstairs there is a game room/lounge with a wet bar, another living room, a bathroom with shower, one bedroom with a single queen bed (door opens to hall), another bedroom with two queen beds (door opens to living room plus has a passthrough door to first bedroom), and off the living room is a master suite that includes a room with a king bed, a very small room with a twin trundle bed, and another bathroom with shower. We found it hard to understand the room situation from the listings and description so I made a video walkthrough which can be found on YouTube. We had a minor issue checking in, but the management company (Lucky Savannah) took care of it very quickly. Be sure to book direct on Lucky's site for the best rates and options. Tip: the park across the street has a short disc golf course and even some discs available for use if you don't travel with a set."

"We got married here and it was absolutely gorgeous and perfect! The whole process was wonderful and easy, we were allowed so much flexibility and were hands on with planning our big day. And then the day-of went smoothly! Special thank you to Renee for assisting us throughout the months of planning, and the whole team for spending the day with us and setting up/tearing down. The house was beautiful and the perfect place to get married. My family also stayed 3 nights surrounding the wedding - the home was clean, check in was easy, and it was overall a great stay. I would definitely recommend for any occasion!"

"Stunning venue for special events. Hosted my wedding there and it was the perfect spot for an intimate wedding and our guests loved the venue! My husband and I stayed the night before the wedding at the Gingerbread House and it was great. The rooms in the second floor had been renovated and they inviting and cozy. The venue manager Ann was really nice, accommodating and replied fast to any inquiries; unfortunately I didn't get to meet her in person due to an emergency but she made sure that we had everything we needed for our event. The bar staff was fantastic as well. I highly recommend The Gingerbread House, it's the perfect venue!"

"Ann took over a few months out after all the Covid changes and chaos!! My husband and I were finally able to have our dream Savannah wedding this past weekend. The gingerbread house was wonderful! The catering staff went the extra mile to pack up all the snacks from cocktail hour! Bartenders made sure we had extra drinks before shutting down the bar. Ann did any and everything to make our day perfect! She even picked up the lunch for my bridal party!! Please consider GBH as a venue! My reception and cocktail hour was a literal dream :)"

"Thank you so very much to The Gingerbread House for hosting our wedding this weekend. Our 80 guests were blown away! Sarah was great to work with- and on the day of Amanda took charge of every detail and executed everything perfectly. If I would have asked her for a pink glitter pony minutes before the ceremony, you would have seen one prancing down the aisle and I would never be the wiser of how hard it was to get! We basically ended up having the run of the house for the entire weekend, which made everything so much easier and less stressful! Our guests raved about the food, which was a special vegetarian menu they made to accommodate us. The DJ was great for both the ceremony and reception. Everything ran smoothly and on time, and everyone had a great time in this beautiful old house. Thank you!"
