"Such a beautiful area...Savannah is a great place to visit. The trees in Georgia are breathtakingly beautiful!"
"The first square to be laid out in 1733 and the largest of the 22 that remain in existence. A very active park with a lot of history. There is a nice view of City Hall. Although much of the surrounding buildings are relatively new, the park has remained much the same. Also shown are pictures of Christ Church founded in 1733, the first house of worship in the colony of Georgia , and a memorial bench to Johnny Mercer, co-founder of Capital Records."
"A really pretty place to sit and relax. It is truly a beautiful historical place. Almost every where you go in this downtown area there is something you can learn about. It is truly interesting."
"We did a self- guided walking tour of each of Savannah's squares. Each square is different and a great opportunity to learn and see local history as well as historical neighborhoods. Great way to get a feel for and see the city!"
