Reviews
"I'm new to the area. I enjoyed my visit and plan to go often. Sure, it's not like the Atlanta botanical garden or other big budget gardens, but it's free. Greatly appreciated; many thanks to the people that maintain it. Some of the other reviewers have silly expectations."
"I wanted to like it but as a plant lover it hurt my soul. If it were maintained it would be a lovely, little gem. It’s very small but I could see it being a lovely place to stroll and relax. Sadly almost everything was dead or overgrown. The few flowers that were blooming seemed pathetic next to the overgrown garden beds. Savannah is such a fertile, year round place for plants! I wish someone would go in and give it some TLC! I certainly would be more than willing. Really not worth the drive sadly."
"I feel bad leaving a one star review, particularly as this is a free/donation garden. Moreso wanted to leave a review to let people know if they sort by most recent that it is past its prime for the season in 2023. I would likely gladly give this 4-5 stars were it in peak season. We went late in the season in September, well past normal blooms, and while there were some things with flowers, they were few and far between. The water and fountain area was peaceful and pretty. We enjoyed the "Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm" much more (it does have a $5 entry), as it was much larger with more walking areas."
"Absolutely a beautiful and cozy garden to just relax in. So many flowers and cozy places to just get lost in with mother nature. These flowers made of plates inspired me in so many ways. A must when visiting this area. Actually ALL the gardens are a MUST! Reviewed by Peaceful Funky Hoops."
"Quiet place to walk around with ample shade. Beautiful varieties and appreciated the identification tags. Bring a water bottle and snack since there are no concessions. However, you may not stay long enough to need one. Great free place to run around and pet friendly."
