Starlite Garage Doors

"I would give zero stars if I had the option to. Had garage door installed. Installer was rude and did not explain anything to me. I called the Texas number to complain that the person there was very rude as well. The customer service number is based out of Texas. I tried to call the local numbers on the invoice and on the webpage and both were disconnected. I called the 812 area code number as well and was sent back to the answering service. This company has an F rating with the BBB. You will not know who or what company installed your garage door and no support or friendly customer service is available. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General's office. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY."

"Wow! Called to ask if we could get a price on installing garage doors that we bought at a box store. The customer service rep said "we don't do that" and hung up on me while I was asking if he knew anyone who does and if not could he give me a price on installing doors we buy from Starlite as we can return these and we are having trouble finding someone to install them. I called back to try again because I thought maybe he pushed the button too fast, but nope - he did it again. I hope his day gets better and I hope Starlite does listen to the recorded phone calls for "training purposes" someone could use some."

"10minutes. Never took the cover off. Pushed 3 buttons and charged nearly $200.00. Never used a ladder. Spent more time charging me on IPad than did working. Said it was a motor issue which is why it cost so much. NEVER will they darken my doorway again. Seniors beware"

"Called Starlite on a Saturday morning to see about a same day service repair where all other places I called had earliest appointments for Monday. Nick arrived about two hours later and replaced the springs and fixed the track and roller issue in 45 minutes like he stated. Great experience!"

"Each appointment that was set, Starlite kept rescheduling (total of 3). No one ever arrived. I was offered 12-3 on two occasions, but each time, I would receive a text that the tech would be out between 2-5p. When 5p came & yet no one had appeared, I received another text from Starlite advising the tech would arrive 8p-10p. THREE DAYS in a row this happened! Only until I replied that I was going with another company, Precision, did I receive a call from an actual tech from Starlite, with no apology & still no exact confirmed time. It was too late by then. I understand most businesses are experiencing staffing shortages, but add a poor customer experience to that and it's a recipe for being put out of business. My recommendation to any customers considering this company, is to go with someone else."
