"Love the property and the history. A great place for a wedding."
"Extremely disappointed in this place. We went to torrent for our wedding venue and the inside of the church was very messy the floor was dirty looked like it hadn't been clean in play some time. The House is cozy and it's beautiful, The porch overlooks a playground a playground that doesn't really go with a historic timeframe of this venue they really need to put some sort of fence up or some sort of bushes. The front entrance was a garden walkway however none of the plants were alive they were all dead and the ground was full of dried leaves as she walked up to the house. This place has great potential but the property manager is not really taking care of the property very well. Or perhaps it is a budget thing rather than a property manager thing maybe they just don't have the funding."
"This Chapel is the most intimate romantic and sweet place to have a wedding or a vow renewal."
"Since we are new to Sarasota we went to our first event and decided to become members. Worth the modest donation to support their activities. Despite all the new construction and renovation being done here in Sarasota, there’s a tremendous amount of history here that’s much more than what the Ringling’s have brought to the table. Selby Gardens is another worthwhile destination to become a member of. If you’re an orchid lover, this is an absolute must!"
"This is a wonderful place to get married! The venue is spacious and it has a vintage look to give you your classic wedding pictures and did I mention that it's a historical site! This venue is affordable, gives you enough space, and gives you 4 hours of event time that is included in the package. My surprise wedding was thrown here and it was decorated so beautifully! The manager, Linda was patient and kind even though we ran a little overtime. My husband said that Linda was a huge help in preparing my surprise birthday wedding! She worked with him as he went to her a week before wedding day and she worked magic. She even helped set up the historical church. This place is an awesome place to have a wedding as it will always be a site that we can visit and reminisce throughout our lifespan."
