"In our business, our word is our bond. So when I reached out to Gabriel at SEP Jewelry Tools of Chicago with some general questions about a diamond screener very late on a Friday, I did not expect a response until Monday (which would be more than reasonable). But I was dead wrong. Gabriel not only acknowledged my message, but he also took the time to create a a short video to show me some of the features that the different machines offered. And these were not just stock videos, they were made addressing the questions I had regarding the different models. Then after discussing the options with my partner, we sent Gabriel a message on Sunday just asking him if we could chat on Monday and place our order. Again, I never expected any response until Monday, but Gabriel responded within a few hours getting all of the details of what we were looking for. He was very cognizant of the fact that we are not a huge multi store/custom shop, we are a small business. Gabriel made sure that we had everything that we needed all within our budget. He did not try to up sell us or sell us other products we were not looking for. He even went so far as to give us payment options that would allow us to save money on the shipping. We all know that credit card fees add up and so by paying with a certified check, we were able to save ourselves an extra $150 in shipping which to our business is greatly appreciate. After leaving the bank on Wednesday afternoon, I sent Gabriel a picture of the check and the shipping label just to let him know that it was on the way to him. About 30 minutes later, he responded to me with a photograph of of my boxes and he informed me that he was shipping out my items that day. Now, to me, this was a big deal because we have not done business together before nor did I have a credit account set up, nor did I provide him a credit card. He took me at my word that the payment was on its way just like I took him at his word about the equipment that would work best for us within our budget. Everything arrived and was exactly as promised. I was having a bit of a technical bit of confusion in setting up the screener. I messaged Gabriel and he did not message me back, he called me to walk me through what to do and then followed up with written instructions. At the end of his message, he left me a phone number. It is his personal cell phone number and he told me to not hesitate to reach out if we had any issues. That is unheard of these days. Gabriel told me that he stands behind every product he sells, and we was not kidding. I read so many reviews about SEP Tools and they are all very similar in their praise of the customer service and quality of products. That is why I am so happy to write this review of my experience with SEP. We are already working on your next order. Quality, price, customer service, and genuine respect for their clients is how I would sum up Gabriel and SEP Tool!"
